Like every vineyard in France, Beaujolais has its own wine route.
An extension of the Burgundy wine route (Dijon-Beaune), this wine route crosses the ten Beaujolais crus and takes in the region's main must-see sites. This 140 km-long wine route offers a rich variety of discoveries to awaken your senses and delight your eyes.

Take one of the 7 circuits laid out by the Beaujolais tourist office to (re)discover this fascinating vineyard on the outskirts of Lyon (less than an hour by car from Lyon and less than twenty minutes from Mâcon)! You'll cross the land of the 2,000 men and women who produce the 12 Beaujolais appellations: from Beaujolais des Pierres Dorées to the ten Beaujolais crus (Saint-Amour, Juliénas, Chénas, Fleurie, Chiroubles, Moulin-à-Vent, Régnié, Morgon, Brouilly and Côte de Brouilly), not forgetting the Beaujolais Villages. From Saint-Amour to Bully, discover Beaujolais in red, white and rosé...

From the north to the south of the region, take advantage of the many exceptional views over the vineyards (e.g. Terrasse de Chiroubles, Mont Brouilly, Chapelle de la Madone) and stop off at the Maisons des Crus to taste several wines from the same appellation. Each cellar represents a cru and is run by winegrowers producing wines from the same appellation. A unique opportunity to taste wines in the presence of a professional who can explain winemaking methods.
