Terms and Conditions

By making payment for any visit, including all activities and attractions, you accept these terms and conditions in full.


1 Contract


1.1 These terms and conditions govern the contractual relationship between you and Beaujolais Wine Experiences in relation to the guided tours we organise.


1.2 The contract is concluded as soon as Beaujolais Wine Experiences has accepted a booking made by you in writing (letter, e-mail or via the Internet) or by telephone.

 

2 Beaujolais Wine Experiences


2.1 We are a sole trader company, created by Thomas Lejeune, incorporated in France under number 934764085 and whose registered office is located at 14 Rue Pelletier, Lyon, 69004, France.


2.2 The services offered by Beaujolais Wine Experiences are subject to French and European law. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of a tour organized by Beaujolais Wine Experiences, you must write to us stating the nature of your complaint within 30 days of the end of the tour. French law applies to your contract and any dispute arising out of or in connection with this contract will be decided by the Tribunal de Grande Instance de Lyon, France.

3 Terms of payment


3.1 Payment: to confirm the booking, a payment link is sent to you so that you can pay in one or more instalments, depending on your choice. 
3.2 If full payment is not received 48 hours before the reservation date, we reserve the right to accept another reservation request for which full payment has been received.


3.3 Payments can only be made in euros, by bank transfer or by credit/debit card via a secure link.


3.4 Professional sales: payment on receipt of invoice and no later than 15 days before the trip, unless other payment conditions have been agreed by our company.
No discount for early payment. 
In accordance with the provisions of article L.441-6 of the French Commercial Code, amended by the law of March 22, 2012, in the event of late payment, you will be liable and subject to late payment penalties representing three times the legal interest rate and a fixed amount of 40 euros for collection costs.

4 Cancellation and refunds

4.1 Your payment for cancelled trips will be refunded as follows:
Cancellation received and confirmed by Beaujolais Wine Experiences:


#up to 48 hours before booking, full refund


4.2 Refunds will be made to the credit card used to pay for the reservation and all costs associated with the payment and refund will be the responsibility of the customer.


4.3 Any unreported reduction in the number of participants on the date of the tour will not affect the price of the booked tour already calculated.

 

5 No-shows


5.1 If the customer who has booked the tour fails to show up, Beaujolais Wine Experiences :


i. make no refund and reserves the right :


ii. charge a cancellation fee corresponding to the balance of the tour price.

6 Program changes or tour cancellation by Beaujolais Wine Experiences

6.1 Tour programs may be modified in the event of unforeseeable circumstances (e.g. harvest, unavailability of the winemaker, unforeseen accident). Beaujolais Wine Experiences will do its utmost to offer equally satisfactory alternatives or another solution in such cases.


6.2 Beaujolais Wine Experiences is entitled to cancel tours in the event of force majeure (e.g. natural disasters, unrest, strikes) or in the event of government measures, accidents, technical faults, illness, etc. Beaujolais Wine Experiences is not liable for any loss or damage arising from such events. Amounts already paid to Beaujolais Wine Experiences will be refunded, but no compensation or reimbursement of personal expenses will be paid.

 

7 Participation

7.1 All our wine tours are private. You will not be accompanied by other travelers.


7.2 In the interests of all concerned, Beaujolais Wine Experiences reserves the right to accept or refuse any tour participant and to exclude any customer whose behaviour is deemed incompatible with the interests of the public, suppliers or staff.
Beaujolais Wine Experiences will not reimburse or cover any costs or expenses incurred in terminating tour arrangements due to unacceptable behavior.

8. Travelers requiring special assistance during tours

You must notify Beaujolais Wine Experiences of any disability requiring special attention during the tour at the time of booking. Beaujolais Wine Experiences will make every effort to accommodate the special needs of disabled travelers, but cannot be held responsible if this is not possible, nor for the refusal of services by carriers, hotels, restaurants or other independent suppliers. 
Beaujolais Wine Experiences cannot provide individual assistance to customers for walking, eating, getting in and out of vehicles or for other personal needs. 
Beaujolais Wine Experiences strongly recommends that a qualified and physically fit escort accompany travelers who require such assistance. All Beaujolais Wine Experiences travelers are subject to the above participation clause.

9 Responsibility

Beaujolais Wine Experiences coordinates and organizes the many and varied services of subcontractors and suppliers before and during a tour. This includes restaurants, activity providers and owners of vineyards, chateaux, gardens and other attractions visited. All persons or companies engaged in the provision of these support services are NOT employees of Beaujolais Wine Experiences. Accordingly, Beaujolais Wine Experiences assumes no responsibility for any loss or accident, loss or damage to personal property, delay, inconvenience, expense of any kind or injury to persons participating in the tour. In addition, Beaujolais Wine Experiences is not responsible for any failure or negligence caused by any person or company engaged in the provision of services for a tour, or by any strike, work stoppage, act of God, weather conditions or other events beyond our control. Beaujolais Wine Experiences reserves the right to cancel or modify any tour when circumstances so require or demand.

10 Insurance

Guests are responsible for all damage and loss caused by their actions during the tours. Luggage and personal effects remain your responsibility at all times during the tours. It is strongly recommended that you take out travel insurance to cover the loss of the deposit paid, in the event of unavoidable cancellation due to illness or other reasons, loss of personal luggage, medical expenses, etc.
Our liability is defined by the clauses of the professional insurance contract and French legislation for the organization of wine tastings with cellar visits, distribution, design and marketing of all activities related to travel and tourism.

11 Privacy policy

We will not communicate, broadcast, publish or disclose your address. You can change your subscription settings or unsubscribe completely at any time.
